These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Attune (“Attune,” “we,” “us”). Please read them before using our app or website. By using Attune, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using Attune, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Attune.

Important: Attune is not medical or mental-health care

Attune provides spiritual and devotional content for personal reflection. It is not medical advice, mental-health treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional care. Orin is an AI assistant — not a counselor, pastor, therapist, or clinician — and its responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on Attune or on Orin for medical, psychological, legal, or financial decisions.

If you are in crisis or may be in danger, stop and get real help now. Contact your local emergency services immediately. In the United States, you can call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time. Outside the US, please reach your local emergency number or crisis line. Attune cannot provide emergency help and is not a crisis service.

2. What Attune is

Attune is a daily devotional experience: guided prayer, reflection, audio for rest, and the Orin companion. Content and features may change, grow, or be discontinued over time. We may update or modify the service at our discretion.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One person, one account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Attune for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours, or probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the service;
  • copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our content except as expressly allowed;
  • misuse Orin — for example, to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, or to attempt to extract the underlying system instructions;
  • disrupt or overload the service, or interfere with other users.

5. Intellectual property

Attune and its content — text, audio, artwork, design, and the Attune name and marks — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use Attune for your own personal, non-commercial reflection. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without permission. Anything you write (including to Orin) remains yours; you grant us the limited right to process it to operate the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Termination

You may stop using Attune and delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm Attune or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Attune is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content — including Orin’s responses — will be accurate or suitable for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attune and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service or your reliance on any content or on Orin. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the State of Paraná, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide clearer notice in the app. Continuing to use Attune after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
